Product Information
Huy Voun Lee grew up playing with the scrap papers her mother brought home from her workplace, paper-cutting, doodling, and occasionally dabbling in origami. When she started teaching origami at the American Museum of Natural History, she met a community of enthusiastic folders who inspired her to create her own models. Huy Voun Lees origami models have been published in Creased Magazine and the Dutch Convention Newsletter. She is also the illustrator of more than ten books for children, including most recently, Red, White, and Boom!, which was selected for the 2012 Original Art Show. She lives in New York and continues to teach origami at the American Museum of Natural History and elsewhere.
